| This basket is something I saw in a book and am trying to perfect right now. I actually made it as three individual pieces and then sewed the star to the smaller one. Am currently weaving a larger version of this and will post pictures when it's complete. (Judy, I still need your critique on this one when you get a chance.) | |

| This is a silk coiled basket which I designed and made for this bead (which was made by a friend of mine-Chris Hornby). | This is also a silk coiled basket. |

This was the basket I made after coming home from seeing an
exhibit of Dale Chihuly glass sculptures. Sort of a "my interpretation
of his interpretation of a basket".
Guess you had to be there. www.dalechihuly.com - check out his work if you get a chance - it is fabulous!

| This is a basket named "Pinata" which
was designed by Judy Wilson (also known as "The Queen of Linen, Silk
. . ." I love all her kits and really enjoyed making this one as
well. If you'd like to see the master's work - check out www.judykwilson.com!
(No critique necessary Judy, I know that is is a bit different than yours - but, as usual, I like it!) |
